ICVHealth Colleague Awarded the 2015/2016 Heart and Stroke Foundation Grant-in-Aid

The ICVHealth Grant Support Team is proud to announce its involvement in another successful grant application.

The team assisted pediatric cardiologist and Medical Director of the BCCH Heart Centre Dr. Shubhayan Sanatani in obtaining the 2015/2016 Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada’s Grant-in-Aid (GIA) for his study entitled, “Understanding the risk of sudden death in families: cascade screening in CPVT”.

The application obtained a 98.18 percentile ranking within the committee, a ranking which earned the study a total funding of $258,977 over three years.

The goal of ICVHealth’s Grant Support Service is to support new investigators in cardiovascular research by securing research grants with competitive applications. To learn more about the research support services ICVHealth has to offer, click here.
